Annual Events
Every year their are a number of children's events held on the site organised by either the site directors or the residents themselves. Keep your eye on the noticeboard or the site Facebook Group for information.
Be prepared ahead of these events for the organisers coming around collecting donations of raffle/tombola prizes. All the money raised from these events goes toward providing the children's parties.
Easter
Easter weekend sees a children's party with tombola/raffle followed by an Easter egg hunt around the playing field area.
Family Fun Day
This takes place over the weekend of the August Bank Holiday and includes:
- Fishing Competition
- Scarecrow Competition
- Children's Swimming races and sports day
- Raffle, Tombola and other stalls in the marquees on the playing field
Halloween
Children can dress up for a spooky children's party with tombola/raffle followed by an supervised trick or treat around the site.
You can opt in for a visit or let them know where you've stashed the goodies on the Facebook Group in the days prior to the event.
Fireworks
As Bonfire Night approaches the site lights up the sky with its annual firework display. The viewing area is the car park by reception and the Cafe usually opens for warm drinks snacks and traditional bonfire fayre.
